Damares rejects any text that is the result of negotiation with the Supreme Court. “The Supreme will recognize that what was wrong? What comes from the Supreme comes as punishment. We will not admit punishment,” he says. “We can think of a proposal that reaches everyone, but who has to be the protagonist is us, not the supreme. The supreme has already extrapolated everything. The Supreme deserves no respect.”
