Rüdiger, however, indicated that his return could happen within a few weeks.
Through social networks, the defender said he intends to return in time to compete in the UEFA League of Nations by the Germany team (semifinal against Portugal on June 4), and the Club World Cup between June and July, by the Spanish club. The defender was on the field in the final of the King Cup against Barcelona, but was replaced in overtime. After surgery, Rüdiger revealed that he had been playing with pain for at least seven months.
In the 3-2 defeat for Archirrival, the player won the headlines for screaming with the reserve bench referee and throwing an ice bag in the field.
