Poland is a partner who has another economic growth in front of it, which can be followed and earned on it. This was said by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy Vladimír Šimoňák at a meeting with entrepreneurs who are part of the delegation of President of the Slovak Republic Petr Pellegrini at the Trojom Summit in Warsaw. “For the government, I can say that we are here with the President here is an expression of the seriousness we attach to the relationship with Poland,” said Šimoňák, according to which in Warsaw to see the economic growth of Poland at every step.
Historical participation of the delegation
The Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Andrea Elscheková-Matisová emphasized that this is a historically strongest Slovak delegation at the Trojoria Summit. “Poland is stepped on a member of the G20, beyond the northern border we have a really great partner,” the Ambassador added.
Representatives of companies already operating in Poland or that would like to expand to Poland were present at the meeting. “We are here to offer Polish colleagues our experience and know-how and helped them to go to the nuclear club,” said Andrej Žiarovský, a nuclear energy expert, in connection with Poland’s plan to build three nuclear power plants.
Opportunities for Slovaks
According to Zdena Fedeš, who helps Slovaks find a job in Poland, the Polish market offers many opportunities for the Czechs, because there are many companies that also serve the Slovak market from there. “Since there are few of us here, our main advantage is our language,” says Fedeš, but adds that the labor market is currently facing uncertainty. “Currently, due to geopolitics at the corporate level, positions are slightly less than in previous years or months, because many corporates are waiting,” concludes Fedeš for TASR.
Slovak entrepreneurs will take part in the Business Forum of the Trinity and State Secretary Šimoňák at bilateral negotiations with Polish partners on Tuesday. President Pellegrini will also perform at the summit.
