A Brazilian woman broke into the cabin of an American Airlines plane at Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo to protest against the delay of the flight to New York. The incident generated confusion on board and forced the pilot to return to the boarding gate for safety reasons.
In the images shared on social networks, you can see the moment when the passenger is immobilized and, in the background, another passenger shouts that everyone calms up, further increasing chaos.
According to international civil aviation legislation, it is expressly forbidden for any passenger to enter the command booth without authorization – a serious infraction that may have legal consequences.
There are reports that both the woman and the man who intervened the screams will have been removed from the flight, although the airline has not officially confirmed it. American Airlines reported only that the decision to return to the gate was taken to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew.
