The Faro GNR stopped on Thursday in Albufertythree men and two women suspected of selling products with cannabis extracted and derived substances that will have caused several medical emergencies, was released on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Faro Territorial Command states that, in an inspection operation for Cannabis Products sales establishments, it identified three people aged 30 to 63 and seized More than 2,300 products.
The operation took place after “reports of Various Medical Emergency Situations related to the consumption of products purchased in stores whose activity is arrested with the sale of substances extracted and derived from cannabis ”, describes GNR.
During the inspection, it was found that stores sold products with prohibited substances, for recreational use, including Plant preparations for smoking and food genres, as well as products intended for cosmetic and medicinal purposes without proper authorization of the competent entity.
GNR highlights “the presence of tetraidrocanabinol (THC) In many products, the substance with psychoactive effects present in the Cannabis plant, whose detention and sale, outside the legal provisions, is a crime. ”
In total, 57 vials containing liamba, 365 cigarettes manufactured with liamba, 769 thc product with liamba and hashish, 93 cannabidiol cigarettes (CBD), 224 cosmetic products containing CBD, 286 food genres (gums, cakes, among others) contain psychoactive substances, 387 Varied products without labeling in Portuguese and 130 tobacco products without fiscal stamp.
The facts were communicated to the Judicial Court of Albufeira. GNR adds that two records of offense due to the sale of products intended for medicinal purposes without authorization of the competent entity and two for sale of products without labeling in the Portuguese language;
