To participate, it is enough to be from 2 to 12 years old, your bike, helmet and the desire for a sports adventure. Children start in their age categories. Professionally prepared routes will be adapted to their abilities and skills. You can sign up for participation in the races on the day of the competition. Just come earlier and report your child to start.
Participation in races is not only a chance for the first sports experience. Children learn the rules of “fair play” and responsibility – how safely and in the group to move on a bike, how to take care of their bike or how to prepare for a start. This is an important element of education, not only sports, but also life. Thanks to this dose of experience, children will be even more aware and safe road users in the future – as cyclists, drivers or passengers – says Ewa Kapacka, director of the Marketing and PR office, PKO Ubezpieczenia.
During PKO insurance races, it will provide a special Expo zone with numerous attractions. The participants will be waiting for, among others A bicycle town where you can check the knowledge of road traffic rules, a bicycle service with the possibility of checking the technical condition of the bicycle or performing minor repairs. The youngest will be able to spend time in a plastic corner or with painting faces. There will also be a iconic Blender Bike, where you can unscrew fresh juice. After the race, each participant will receive a commemorative medal, and the winners will be awarded on the podium during a solemn decoration.
Family emotions and unforgettable impressions
This year, Mazowsze will host races three times. In addition to Służewiec on May 1, small riders will check their skills on May 31 in Nadarzyn and June 15 in Legionowo.
We want to popularize physical activity, which is a source of well -being – has a positive effect on health and quality of life. For us, health care is a very important element of insurance activities, which is why we actively support everyone who practices and identifies before. We would like children from an early age to be involved in movement and outdoor activities and mobilize themselves to participate in sports competition, which is a source of positive emotions and unique experiences. We want to be with our clients where they like to spend time – share their hobby and passions with them – adds Ewa Kapacka.
This year’s PKO Junior Race insurance series includes seven races in three provinces: Dolnośląskie, Mazowieckie and Lubuskie. For the fifth time PKO insurance is a sponsor of the event that attracts more and more young participants. PKO Junior Race insurance not only popularizes sports activity among the youngest, but also teaches safety and cooperation rules, becoming one of the most important cycling events for children in Poland.
