SAO PAULO (Reuters)-Cargill, BTG Pactual Commodities and a consortium formed by Louis Dreyfus Company and Amaggi bid port terminal lease rights for the flow of agricultural products in Paranaguá (PR) on Wednesday on auction at B3.
In a fierce dispute at Viva Voz by the Par15 area, Cargill beat the North Infrastructure and logistics arc with a grant offer of R $ 411 million.
The Aldc Consortium, made up of Louis Dreyfus Company and Amaggi, finished the port area Par25, with a grant offer of R $ 219 million.
In a statement, Amaggi and Dreyfus stated that the “feat is in line with the development strategy of the two companies and guided by the commitment to invest in grain flow through the Paranaguá export corridor”.
Already BTG Pactual Commodities bid the right to lease the port area Par14 in Paranaguá, with a grant offer of R $ 225 million.
The BTG has played the area for flowing agricultural solids in live voice with Ictsi Americas BV, a global terminal operator.

ICTSI had earlier lost the dispute for another area in Paranaguá to the Aldc Consortium.
The director of the National Waterway Transport Agency (Antaq), Caio Farias, celebrated in speech the values of the grants obtained, which totaled R $ 855 million reais, considering the three areas of Paranaguá.
He pointed out that the added contracts of the first port auction of the year will result in investments of R $ 2 billion.

Earlier, an area in Rio de Janeiro was also auctioned.
