With summer getting closer, the water parks scattered throughout Portugal and Spain gradually start opening their doors to a new bathing season. In Portugal, and in particular in the Algarve, the offer is vast, but there are those who prefer to visit Isla Magic, which is in the neighboring country and, although it is an amusement park, also has an aquatic zone that only opens in summer. Siam Park is divided into three major thematic areas: relaxation, family and adrenaline. In the relaxation zone, visitors can enjoy quiet moments, either by sailing the Mai Thai River, or by taking advantage of the artificial beach of natural sand known as Siam Beach.
Relaxation in a Thai -inspired environment
For those who prefer calmer experiences, there is still the floating market, which replicates a traditional Thai village, and a pool where it is possible to observe sea lions. These attractions allow visitors a more cultural and quiet immersion within the park.
The area dedicated to families includes attractions, such as Naga Racer, a set of slides for group competitions, and the snake jungle, where water pipes and floats ensure the fun of the little ones. Already the lost city offers the only pool for babies from the Canary Islands.
The largest artificial wave in the world
One of the highlights of the park is Wave Palace, which has the largest artificial wave in the world, three meters high, in a pool of over 13,500 square meters. Coco Beach is another alternative for those looking for a beach with sand imported directly from the African continent.
The most adventurers find in the adrenaline zone their ideal space, with attractions, such as the Tower of Power, which has a 28 -meter -high slide, and Singha, one of the park’s most exciting experiences.
Night show during the summer
This summer the park also offers a novelty for those who visit it. Until August 31, from Tuesday to Saturday, between 20h00 and 00h00, will take place at Moonlight Water Kingdom the largest nightlife show of Tenerife, with DJ performances and live music.
