Race at the São Paulo racetrack brings together 11 thousand participants, historical exhibitions and immersive activations to honor Ayrton Senna and connect generations to the spirit of the three -time champion.
On May 1st, a symbolic date for fans of motorsport, the Interlagos racetrack in Sao Paulo will be taken by emotion, sweat and memories. The 20th edition of Racing Day celebrates not only the memory of the three -time world champion, but reaffirms his living legacy with a great party that unites sport, history and immersive experiences.
With 11 thousand runners from all over Brazil, the event consolidates itself as one of the greatest sports honors to the pilot. The race, which occurs within the iconic interlagos circuit, has gained a new format: instead away by kilometers, participants face a specific number of laps in the official layout. The program starts early at 6am, with the start of one lap (4.1 km), followed by the tests of two (8.3 km) and three laps (12.5 km) at 7:30 am.
In addition to the main race, the day will be marked by attractions for all ages. Senninha Racing Day, aimed at children from 2 to 12, promotes an obstacle race with the character created by Ayrton to convey values such as respect, courage and environmental awareness.
And don’t stop there. One of the highlights of the edition is the exclusive exhibition with 29 personal items of the pilot, including unpublished pieces given by the family. Helmets, trophies, overalls and even the emblematic strip of the 1994 World Cup – with the message “Senna, we accelerate together, the tetra is ours” – make up the collection, mounted on the racetrack boxes. Relics that connect fans of different generations to the idol’s trajectory.
This connection is visible in the public profile: 52% of registration is women, and the number of participants up to 30 years old has quadrupled compared to 2024. “Celebrating these 20 editions is a way of showing how Ayrton continues to inspire people to be better every day,” says Bianca Senna, CEO of Senna Brands.
Among the news, the event will also host the launch of the new Senna brand collection and DJ presentations of the Senna Driven project, which transforms the pilot’s legacy into electronic music. Speed lovers can still taste the adrenaline with the Drive Experience of Super Gramado Cars: more than 10 luxury models will be available for a turn full of emotion after street events.
In addition to entertainment, the event also embraces social causes. The campaign “Cure Tampinhas” will raise plastic lids to finance treatments of children with cancer, and the entire operation will have neutral carbon certification, with the support of the company Musa.
In an unprecedented action, Ayrton Senna Racing Day will also mark the early release of McDia Feliz 2025, uniting sports and solidarity at a date marked by memory and inspiration. “It is an event designed in the smallest detail to thrill, honor and also positively impact society,” says Shayene Metri, director of events at Vega Sports, an organizer alongside Senna Brands.
More than a race, Ayrton Senna Racing Day is a soul experience. A tribute that accelerates hearts and reinforces, returns after a return, that Ayrton’s legend never brakes.
