In a study conducted by dr hab. Aneta Bylak from the University of Rzeszów indicated that this particular species could be a serious threat to the ecosystem. The author of this work stated that BAMBUS BISSET has very strong invasive features, it is strongly dominantand this means that it can displace other plants that are native to the environment in Poland. In addition, it grows very quickly (up to 20-30 cm in a day in good weather and the best growth phase), and this makes it difficult to control, new shoots will appear at an express pace.
