Economic recovery program was created during the COVID-19 pandemic and ended in early April
The (Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region) granted a favorable decision to the company Hyve Eventos Ltda to maintain its participation in the Perse (Emergency Event Sector Resumption Program) by March 2027. The federal government’s tax incentive program was closed in early April.
Judge Wilson Sauhy determined that the tax benefit, which includes zero income tax rate, CSLL, PIS and Cofins, may be enjoyed for the original 60 -month period provided for in article 4 of Law No. 14,148, of 2021, or until the limit of R $ 15 billion of tax renunciation is reached. The injunction was granted after the request was denied in the lower court. The beneficiary company operates in the event business, one of the sectors contemplated by Perse.
This TRF-3 decision represents one of the first second instance demonstrations favorable to maintain the benefits of the program.

The program was created in 2022 to assist in the economic recovery after the impacts of the pandemic.
