The writer Marcelo Rubens Paiva, 65, disabled his profile on X, former Twitterafter some old posts of yours that had sexual content viralizing.
In rescued tweets, mostly made in mid -2010, Marcelo commented on the body of some famous, such as Mara Maravilha and Gloria Pires, and also spoke openly about sex. While some netizens made a joke with the posts, others criticized for their comments.
In an interview with Podcast Metrópoles Talks this week, he even commented on his departure from the social network, where he accumulated more than 900,000 followers.
“Today I abandoned Twitter, left almost 1 million followers, because I had nothing to say anymore,” he said.
He said he was convinced to disable his profile after talking to journalists Adriana Ferreira Silva and Mariliz Pereira Jorge, who also abandoned the network.
“They said they had left Twitter and asked why I didn’t. I said: but I have almost 1 million followers, imagine abandoning so many people. And they said they also had these numbers,” said Marcelo.
