Minister stated that a program is already 50 years old and, therefore, changes in it should be made carefully
The Minister of Labor, Luiz Marinho, said on Wednesday that the government will find a way to reduce the fees charged on restaurants and other establishments by vouchers-meal and food companies.
“One thing is certain, reducing the rate? We will reduce the fee. I even played (it would be) in love or pain,” he said at a news conference after the disclosure of general employee and unemployed registration data.
Marinho pointed out that the worker’s feeding program is already 50 years old and, therefore, changes in it should be made carefully and stated that lower establishments are the ones that have complained the most about the levels of the charged fees.
