United States President Donald Trump said Federal Reserve Commander Jerome Powell is not doing a good job, resuming criticism of monetary policy by the US Central Bank, which has maintained unchanged interest rates.
“I am more knowledgeable than the president of the Fed,” the Republican said in an event held in the state of Michigan, on Tuesday, 29, to mark the 100 days of his second administration in front of the White House.
“I want to be respectful with the Fed, but I know more about interest than them,” he said.
The US president criticized after listing a series of products that had a drop in price, such as energy, eggs, real estate mortgage rates and medicines.
