Erika Hilton blames Lady Gaga show under the public in act

The federal deputy (PSOL-SP), 32, assigned this Thursday (1st.MAI.2025) the low participation in the acts of Labor Day in Sao Paulo to the proximity of the show of singer Lady Gaga, which will be held on Saturday (3.MAI), in Rio de Janeiro.

The demonstrations brought together unions and groups of workers in defense of agendas such as the end of the working day 6 x 1 (6 days of work for 1 rest). Erika Hilton is the author of the bill that proposes to reduce the weekly workload from 44 to 36 hours.

“We are on the streets this May 1st evoking the whole of workers. Unfortunately, the city of São Paulo is a little missed because of the Lady Gaga concert, but even so, the people came and we will continue on the streets until the proposal is approved in the House of Representatives.”said the congressman in an interview with CNN.

The deputy for acts through social networks on Tuesday (29.abr). In São Paulo, the concentration began at 9am, in Oswaldo Cruz Square. The places of demonstration in other cities were released by, created by the councilman of Rio de Janeiro (PSOL).

In social networks, opposition politicians to the government of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) mocked the speech of the deputy. The petista did not participate in the acts this Thursday (1st.mai).
