Government significantly increases seasonal contingents for tourism industry

Vienna-In order to counteract the lack of personnel in tourism, the government significantly increases the contingents for seasonal workers from non-EU countries-from around 5000 to 8000. The majority of the additional places – namely 2500 – are reserved for workers from the Western Balkans. At the same time, a fund is intended to promote the recruitment and binding of domestic employees.
