Highway collision leaves four victims in RS

Four people died in a frontal collision that occurred on the morning of Wednesday (30), in Rio Grande do Sul (RS). According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), a car would have collided with a truck at km 255 of BR-386 in Soledade.

As determined by the PRF, the Sandero brand car collided with the Mercedes Atego truck, which was driving in the opposite direction of the track. After the accident the two vehicles were immobilized.

The driver and the three car passengers died on the spot. The two passengers in the back seat of Sandero, identified as residents of Carazinhos (RS), respectively 59 and 84 years old, were ejected from the car after the crash. The 31 -year -old truck driver was not injured.

According to a police statement, the highway traffic is fully blocked for the operation of the occurrence and the performance of the expertise conducted by the PRF.
