In Osaka they detained a man who intentionally injured seven children on their way from school, all are conscious.

In the Japanese city of Osaka, they detained a man who intentionally hit seven children with his car, reports TASR, according to AFP, referring to the local media.

The children who were on their way home from school suffered injuries and then transported them to the hospital. According to the public service television NHK and other media, all seven schoolchildren are conscious.

Intentional impact by car

The driver was a 28-year-old man who lives in Tokyo. The police in Osaka detained him for suspicion of an attempt to murder, reported reports referring to sources from the investigation environment.

The NHK reported that the man confessed to the police to the accusations and said he “he was fed up with everything, and so he hit someone in the intention of killing someone”.

Testimony of witnesses

One of the witnesses for Nippon TV said the car was “knocking” before the impact. According to him, one girl was “whole blood” and the other children had visible scratches.

The man “was wearing a veil and looked as if he was shocked” after he was pulled by school teachers, Nippon’s witness quoted him.
