President also mentioned sending the project to the National Congress to expand the exemption from income tax for those who earn up to R $ 5,000 per month
The president defended on Wednesday (30), the revision of the working day in the country. In a radio and TV chain pronouncement on the eve of the petista said that the time has come to put the theme of the change of journey 6 by 1 under discussion. “We will deepen the debate about reducing the current working day in the country, where the worker and the worker spend six days in the service and have only one day of rest. The so -called Day 6 by 1,” he said.
The proposal is being processed in the National Congress through different projects. The latter was filed by federal deputy Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP), in the form of amendment to the Constitution (PEC).

The President of the Republic also mentioned the submission of the project to the expansion of the income tax exemption. “We sent to the National Congress the bill that clears the income tax for those who earn up to $ 5,000 per month. And those who earn between $ 5,000 and $ 7,000 will also benefit paying less than paid today. Now is like this: who earns less, does not pay. And who earns a lot pays the fair amount,” he said.

We left the largest to the lowest unemployment in history. And we reached the historical record of people employed,” he said.
Lula continued: “The minimum wage went up again above inflation, and 90% of the professional categories had real salary earnings. All of this was only possible because, after a decade, Brazil’s economy grew over 3% for two consecutive years, exceeding all expectations.”
The president also highlighted investments in full -time education and educational institutions and stated that “we are constructing a fair one, where humanism and development go together.”
