The City of Rio Branco, through the Municipal Health Secretariat, informs that it will maintain the operation of some Reference Units in Primary Care (URAPs) during the Labor Day holiday, celebrated this Thursday, May 1st.
In order to ensure the population’s access to health services, four units will operate on a special regime on May 1, 2 and 3 (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), from 7am to 1pm.

The URAPs that will be open to service to the public are:
Urap Roney Meireles – R. Arará, 132, Adalberto Sena – 7am to 1pm
Urap Hidalgo de Lima – R. Tião Nature, 29, Palheiral – 7h to 13h
Urap Claudia Vitorino – R. Baguari, 40, Taquari – 7h to 13h
Urap Rozangela Pimentel – R. Maria Francisco Ribeiro – 7am to 1pm
The initiative of the City Hall aims to ensure the continuity of primary health care even during the extended holiday, facilitating care for people who need consultations, vaccination, dressings, among other services offered by the units.
According to the municipal secretary of health, Rennan Biths, the action reinforces the commitment of management to the care of the population. “We know that even during the holidays, health demands continue. Therefore, the city has organized this special care so that people have access to basic health services, such as medical consultations, vaccination and dispensation of medicines,” said the secretary.
The city stresses that the population should look for the unit closer to their residence, respecting the opening hours. At other times, if necessary, the population should look for a emergency care unit.
