The coalition voice-SD rejects any discussion about possible scenarios of Slovakia’s withdrawal from the European Union. This was announced by its chairman and Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the Slovak accession to the EU. He described the debate on the performance as the so -called. a red line for a voice. According to him, the Union is our living space. He added that it is necessary to constructively discuss how to help the EU return to its basics.
“I want to say clearly to the voice that we clearly reject any discussion of possible scenarios of our emergence from the European Union. The European Union is our essential and living space. For us in our voice, the red line is any debate about the performance From the European Union and this red line, we will never allow to exceed until the voice is part of the government coalition. Especially at a time when the world is changing dynamically and it is essential for us to be in a group of strong states. Today, therefore, there is no need to lead public controversy about possible prerequisites for withdrawal from the European Union, ” He said on Thursday during a press conference in Prešov.
He described the voice as a guarantor of the current government that the topic of withdrawal from the European Union or NATO will never be on the table. “However, this does not mean that we will behave somehow servic or helpful about our foreign policy,” added. He promises that his party will always defend the interests of Slovakia in the EU, because Slovakia is to be a sovereign partner.
“We are to do politics on all four world parties, but we should be anchored within the European Union and be a responsible partner for all Member States,” noted. According to him, Slovakia must also be a constructive opponent if the EU comes with nonsense, which affect our economy or, if the Union proposed “nonsensical pactles” of the type of mandatory migration quotas.
