O Corinthians does not have Memphis Depay to face the Novorizontine This Wednesday (30), at 21h30 (Brasília time), in Jorjão, in Novo Horizonte, São Paulo, for Third phase of the Brazilian Cup.
The Dutchman was not related by coach Dorival Júnior, who will make his debut in charge of Timão. Sporting News explains why.

Why isn’t Memphis Depay play?
Depay was out of Corinthians training this week because of knee and right leg pain. The attacker went out in the first half in the 4-0 loss to Flamengo last Sunday after a entry by Leo Ortiz in the region. The Dutchman could not be on the field and was replaced.
In the re -presentation of the cast last Tuesday, Depay was out of the activities remaining inside under the care of physiotherapists. With this, he was not related to the duel against Novorizontino. Corinthians did not talk about injury and gave no time for a possible return.
Dorival climbed an alternative team for the confrontation. In the attack, Talles Magno and Hector Hernández were chosen as holders.

When Depay Volta?
If the injury is not serious, Depay may be available to coach Dorival Júnior already in the next Corinthians commitment, against Internacional, on Saturday (03/05), at the Neo Chemistry Arena, for the seventh round of the Brazilian Championship.
It will all depend on the progress of the player’s treatment. If Depay cannot act, there is a possibility that Romero be chosen to replace it in the team.
