The oldest man in the world in. This is the nuns of Canabacho Lucas, passed away on Wednesday 30/04 at the age of 116.
Born on June 8, 1908, Kanabacho Lucas had been recognized as the oldest member of humanity after death in January in Japan, Itooka, also at 116 years.
The Kanabach became a nun in 1934, at the age of 26, between the two world wars. For her 110th birthday, she had received a special blessing from Pope Francis, who passed away last Monday (Easter) at the age of 88.
After her death, the title of the oldest woman passes to Ithel Caterham, a resident of Surrey, England, who is currently 115 years old.
