Deputy wants to block changes in the national team shirt – 02/05/2025 – Panel

Federal Deputy Eduardo (PSB-RJ), former president of, filed on Tuesday (29) a project to make the Brazilian National Team Intangible Cultural Heritage, which would prevent changes that could misrepresent it, such as the change of uniform colors.

It is about recognizing its importance and its ability to produce good examples for Brazilians.”

The parliamentarian points out that the recognition of selection as a cultural heritage would limit changes that may misrepresent it, including changes in the colors of the uniform. “Just as the national anthem cannot be changed, one cannot do what he understands with a cultural heritage,” he says.
