Riotur calculates an economic impact of R $ 600 million; Event will have stage with connection with Copacabana Palace

Traffic Blocks
CET-Rio (Rio Traffic Engineering Company) has set up a special scheme of blockages in Copacabana similar to that adopted in major events held in the region, such as New Year’s Eve.
From midnight on Saturday (3.MAI.2025) begin access to Copacabana access. Chartered buses will not be allowed to enter the neighborhood and will not be able to park in neighboring neighborhoods, such as Botafogo (including Morro do Pasmado), Ipanema, Lagoa and Urca.
From 7 am on Saturday morning (3.MAI), Avenida Atlântica will be fully banned, with vehicle blockade across the road, including the track next to the buildings and the access streets. From 18h, begins the blockade to access private vehicles to Copacabana, being allowed only the entry of buses and taxis. After 7:30 pm, no buses and taxis will be able to enter the neighborhood. In all, CET-Rio will operate 27 lock points on access roads.
The release of external blockages will start at 4 am on Sunday morning (4.MAI.2025), except at Avenida Atlantica, which will continue to be closed for traffic until 6am. From this time, the road will be reopened for vehicles, keeping, however, the leisure area in the waterfront and the reversible strip on the track next to the buildings.
Transport and Access
In a scheme similar to New Year’s Eve, the main boarding point on the day of the show will be the Botafogo Enseada Terminal, on Avenida das Nações Unidas, near Botafogo Praia Shopping. From 7:30 pm on Saturday to 4:00 am on Sunday morning, the terminal will concentrate all shipments, flows and destinations. From there will come out regular bus lines to the South Zone, including Barra da Tijuca, Recreio and Jacarepaguá, and the North Zone, directed to Tijuca and Méier. During this period, some lines will also operate in a special way, with matches and arrived at the Botafogo Terminal. They are: 100 (Central Brazil), 167 (Terminal Gentleness), 483 (Penha) and 492 (bankers).
In addition, it will be possible to use regular bus stops on Botafogo beach for the following lines: 309 (Alvorada Terminal), 550 (City of God), 553 (Recreation), 554 (Vargem Grande), 410 (Saens Peña), 426 (Plant), 433 (Vila Isabel), 457 (abolition) and 474 (Méier).
The subway will have special operation with the 3 Copacabana subway stations opened for 24 hours, from Saturday to Sunday. Cardinal Arcoverde station will only work for landing from 4 pm to 10 pm on Saturday. There will be flow control around the stations to ensure the safety of the operation.
To go to the show, the boarding can be done normally at any subway station, with approximation payment, cute card or riocard. After midnight, all subway stations, except those of Copacabana, will only work for landing. On the way back, the public will be able to use the Siqueira Campos, Cantagalo and Cardeal Arcoverde stations, which will be open 24 hours. However, there will be no ticket sales on Cardinal Arcoverde. Authorities recommend using Siqueira Campos station, which has two accesses, 50% more boarding, more validators and active box office.
For those who use Supervia’s trains, the special operation foresees the reopening of the central station of Brazil at midnight on Sunday. In the extensions, the following matches are scheduled: in the Santa Cruz branch, the trains will leave at 1h, 2h, 3h and 4h30; In the Saracuruna extension at 0:45, 1h45, 2h45 and 4h; and in the Japeri branch at 0:30 am, 1h30, 2h30 and 4h.
The BRT will have a fleet reinforcement in services 60 (kindness x deodoro – parador) and 22 (ocean garden x Alvorada – parador) on Saturday night and Sunday dawn. In addition, the Direct Executive Service Terminal Gentile vs. Galeão Airport will operate throughout the dawn with matches of the kindness towards Galeão every hour.
The VLT will also have exceptional operation for the show, with 24 -hour operation. A special service between the kindness and Central do Brasil will continually operate from 11 pm on Saturday until 5 am on Sunday, with intervals of 20 minutes.
