Local trade and ecology mark the weekend of Ria Market in Algarveshopping

Algarveshopping, on the guide (Albufeira), will be the stage this weekend – Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4 – from the spring edition of Ria Market, a market dedicated to local talent, focusing on conscious fashion, maternity and sustainability.

Operating between 10:00 and 19:00, the event promises a family and welcoming environment, where visitors will be able to discover new brands in the region, such as Cayo, specializing in accessories, and know projects from the Cashew Association and Babevida.

The program starts tomorrow, Saturday, at 15:00, with the talk “Intelligent Cabinet”, guided by Raquel Arsénio, specialist in personal organization and responsible consumption. At 16:00, follow the “conversations of sofa”, with the theme “Dressing and consuming with ecological awareness”, which will challenge the public to rethink their habits. The afternoon ends with a live musical moment at 5:00 pm, starring Maria Lourenço.

On Sunday, May 4, the day starts at 14:00 with a creative workshop, where participants will be able to create a personalized frame with reused fabrics, ideal to offer on the day of the mother. Two sofa conversation sessions are followed: at 15:00, about “cryopreservation of stem cells”, and at 16:00, dedicated to “fashion and motherhood”. Throughout the day, free 4D ultrasounds will also be available.
