Jensen Huang, CEO and co -founder of Nvidia, has received his first salary increase in a decade. The news was informed to the market in a document sent to the US Securities Commission (SEC) last Thursday (1st).
Huang’s base salary increased by 49% over last year, going to $ 1.5 million per month. Its variable remuneration, which is linked to goals, increased by 50%, totaling US $ 1 million.
Meanwhile, stock awards grew to US $ 38.8 million, raising the total salary to US $ 49.9 million, equivalent to R $ 282.19 million in the current quotation.
The company justifies that the increase was considering the salary equity between the CEO and the other executives.
