PDT leader in the House of Representatives, Mário Heringer (MG) criticizes the conduct of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in the crisis involving the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) and the treatment given to the Minister of Social Security, Carlos Lupi. According to him, the resignation of the chief of the portfolio could also lead to the departure of the bench from the base.
“I defend this position (the exit). My bench, as far as I know, everyone advocates this position. Of course, it is not just exclusively on me, but this is the position I will defend,” he said.
In his assessment, the government has been adopting a dubious position in conducting the crisis. The Minister of Institutional Relations, Gleisi Hoffmann, defended Lupi’s permanence in government, but said that if there is something in the future, it will be removed. A few hours after this interview, Lula appointed federal prosecutor Gilberto Waller Junior as new president of the INSS, without consulting Lupi.
“Gleisi’s interview was Solomonica. She says that the government will keep the minister and then the minister disqualifies the minister making the Nomination of the INSS president without talking to Lupi before. If he believed in our position, he would call Lupi together and would indicate together,” said Heringer.
For the PDT leader in the House, the government should take part in the responsibility, not just play Lupi.
“In fact, the minister is the minister, but who approves is the Civil House.
