The Ukrainian Air Force states that of these 150 drones, 62 were slaughtered. The attack occurred during the last dawn.
Ukraine accuses Russia of launching at dawn a 150 drone attack. Ukrainian air defenses will have dejected 62 of these drones and another 62 did not reach the targets.
The Ukrainian Air Force did not reveal, however, what happened to the remaining 24 drones.
On Wednesday, the Russian presidency declared one from May 8 to 10, when Russia celebrates the day of victory over Germany Nazi.
According to Kremlin, Putin ordered the total cessation of hostilities for “humanitarian reasons”but warned about retaliation.
However, “in case of violation of the ceasefire by the Ukrainian party, the Russian armed forces will give an adequate and effective response,” Putin’s office warned in a statement.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked on Wednesday to offer “any gift” to Russia, referring to territory of your country to Moscow in the context of any agreement to end the conflict.
“We all want this war to end fairly, without any gift to [Presidente russo, Vladimir] Putin, and especially without land, “said Zelensky.
Russia partially occupies four regions in the south and east of Ukraine – Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporijia and Kherson – since the invasion launched by Putin in February 2022. The Ukrainian Peninsula of Crimea in 2014 has also attached after an intervention of his special forces and a referendum not recognized by Kiev and the West.
Russian Foreign Minister Serguei Lavrov insisted that the international recognition of these annexations is a imperative condition to end the invasion of Ukraine.
