Who is Joshua from Flamengo?
Born on May 26, 2007, the young Red-Black athlete, about to be 18, has been in the club since the U15. In 2022, he played two games and scored a goal in the category.
The following year, he climbed to the U17, where, in two years, he made 33 games and 23 goals with the Flamengo shirt.
This year, with the under-20, participated in eight matches.

Highlight in the base categories
Joshua is considered one of the great jewels of the red-black base. In 2024, he was scorer of the Rio U-17 Cup, with 12 goals scored, and ended the season with 20 goals in 26 games for the category.
The player’s performance did not go unnoticed by the club board, which renewed his contract by 2029. The termination fine is 70 million euros.
First year on the main team
Joshua was first related to the first team in 2025. The midfielder was at the reserve bench in the departure against Deportivo Táchira for Libertadores in April.
