We will find the successor of St. Peter,” said Singapore archbishop, William Seng Chye Goh, considered a conservative, upon arriving at the scene.
Algerian’s Archbishop, Algeria’s capital Jean Paul Vesco, considered as progressive, said that he “waits deeply” by a future Pope in the continuity of Francis, who “was like the father of the prodigal son, who opens his arms and his heart. This is what we expect from a holy priest.” “We must find out the one the Lord has already chosen,” he added. “We would need much more joint prayer time, but I’m sure that at the right time we will be ready and we will give the church the Pope the Lord wants,” he emphasized.
