Agreement maintains supply of neutral carbon gasoline for all cars in the category during season 2025
The renewed the sponsorship contract with Formula 4 Brazil and will continue to provide gasoline podium to all category cars in season 2025. The value and duration of the new agreement were not informed.
The announcement was made in the opening stage of the main Brazilian base championship of monoposts, from May 2-4, at the José Carlos Pace racetrack, in Interlagos, São Paulo.
Podium gasoline, produced by Petrobras, is the only neutral carbon fuel made in the country. The compensation of greenhouse gas emissions covers all stages of the chain, from extraction to use in races.
Way to Formula 1
The 4th edition of Formula 4 Brazil will feature the younger grid in the history of the national category. The average age of pilots is 16.4 years, 10 of which are 15 or 16 years old.
Formula 4 is one of the categories used by pilots wishing to reach Formula 1. The championship follows the same scoring system as international competitions in the category. The champion of the season receives 12 of the 40 points required by the International Federation of Automobile (FIA) to obtain the Supercegency, a requirement to compete for the Formula 1 World Cup.
