Vienna – Running is booming, the Wings for Life World Run, which is held worldwide, is just right. The Vienna Flagship Run is sold out with 13,500 runners. On Sunday, 1 p.m. on the ring road at the outer castle gate in the area of the Heldenplatz, the starting shot. After several kilometers on the ring, the path leads out to the Wienzeile and the belt at the opera before going back to the city and is taken on Tulln via Schwedenplatz, Reichsbrücke and Danube Island. Running is for a good cause: a hundred percent of the starting fees flow into spinal cord research. If you haven’t managed to get a starting place for the flagship run, you can also take part in the app-run event together with others or on the personal running route alone.
