Bruno Rossini, the company’s director, says goal is to attract 30% of establishments in the country do not use delivery applications
99Food, food delivery platform, returns to the market in June 2025. It will be the goal of expansion for restaurants that do not offer delivery service per application. The company’s communication director, Bruno Rossini, 41, told the Poder360 that 30% of industry establishments are out of this type of convenience. There are about 400 thousand developments.
The 99 for Restaurant Registration on Tuesday (29.abr.2025) with exemption from fees, which will last at least 2 years. According to Rossini, this will allow restaurants to have “Delivery prices that are the same as stores or at the service counter”.
The 99food relaunch in June will be the 2nd attempt of 99 in the delivery market. The company had launched a delivery platform in 2019 ,.
Bruno Rossini stated that 99food ceased to operate at that time because he considered the unfavorable segment. But, according to him, the rules have improved today.
In 2021 the (Administrative Council for Economic Defense) decided to exclude contracts, the leader in the market. In 2023, it determined that exclusivity can exist in a limited way.
“Digital platforms […] end up becoming a true promotion and customer acquisition machine [para restaurantes]”declared Rossini.
The delivery market moved about $ 40 billion in 2024, with 15% growth compared to the previous year, according to data from (Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants). The 99 rate of exemption from exemption can make room for the company in a sector dominated by iFood, which has approximately 80% of the Brazilian market.

Chinese company Didi Chuxing, owner of 99, operates in food delivery in Mexico and is a market leader. “We make millions of deliveries per month, have over 700,000 restaurants registered on our platform ”, Rossini said.
