Two people, including a little girl, died and several other people suffered injuries after the car hit the entrance of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila on Sunday, the Philippine Red Cross said. TASR writes about this, according to AP and Reuters reports.
Representatives of the airport said that the car – black SUV – broke through the outdoor railing and crashed into the wall near the entrance to the terminal one.
“We understand the concern that this event has caused, especially because the social networks have been spreading shots. We call on the public not to speculate and wait for verified information that will be published as soon as they are available,” the official statement said.
According to the Red Cross, who intervened at the scene of the accident, the victims are an adult man and a four -year -old girl. The Philippine Ministry of Transport reported that the girl was five years old. Three other people suffered injuries in the incident and the driver of the vehicle is in pre -trial custody.
