A hundred -year -old bridge on the border of safety
One of the main causes of the anticipated traffic problems in the sometimes quiet Central Bohemian spa town will be the demolition of the 100 -year -old and then the new construction of the bridge on the driveway in the direction from Prague behind the part of Kluk. In this case, it seems that at least the locals will have to get used to a temporary change in the situation, as it will be a few months of action and cars will not be able to pass through the shuttle. Passenger cars will be diverted to a detour across Husova Street to large goods, bypass of Nymburk and then to the front Lhota. The opposite direction will be led by the same route.
Pedestrians will be better off
While motorists will go for this reason and have to count on a relatively much waste of time, pedestrians and cyclists will be able to conquer the problematic section on a temporary footbridge, which will be built in the places in question. If everything is successful according to the provisional plans of the Regional Road Administration and Maintenance, which is in charge of the section, the work should start and close the roads during the summer holidays.
Poděbrady is also worth a detour
Although it is true that such troubles do not add such troubles to a good mood, it should not discourage us from visiting the beautiful city full of history, places to relax, cafes and greenery, but also colonial concerts. After all, the colonnade will remain unaffected as well as a spa park with lots of greenery and benches. Already now the city is in full flower, so it may be more convenient to come here to see it now when you get to its center without major problems.
