The former president announced that he will be discharged on Sunday (4) after being hospitalized for three weeks since he underwent an intestinal clearance surgery and, in a post on the social network, already talks about following the pro-administrative act scheduled for next Wednesday in Brasilia.
“After 3 weeks, the high scheduled for today, Sunday, at 10am. Thank you my God for this miracle (12 hours of surgery),” he said in his social network X.
“Thank you Dr Claudio Birolini and Team. I return home renewed. My next challenge: to follow the peaceful march of the humanitarian amnesty next Wednesday, May 7, starting at 4 pm from the TV Tower to Congress,” he added.
The day before, the statement of DF Star Hospital already said that Bolsonaro would have discharged “in the coming days.”
The former president had on April 13 for surgery for intestinal clearance after ill with severe abdominal pain while attending a political event in Rio Grande do Norte.
This was the sixth operation Bolsonaro submitted because of a stab he suffered in September 2018 while running election in Juiz de Fora (MG). The former president has also had other episodes of intestinal obstruction.

Last Thursday, Bolsonaro had already made a call for parliamentarians and supporters to appear to the act in defense of the amnesty of the convicts of the acts of January 8, 2023.
Allies of the former president-who became a defendant for attempted coup d’état in trial by the Federal Supreme Court in March-seek to articulate in Congress the approval of a proposal to guarantee a broad amnesty and would also benefit Bolsonaro himself.
