There are still a few hours to the beginning of the show, but around 7 pm on Saturday, 3, the beach was already very crowded with fans and street vendors waiting for the arrival of the pop diva. The City Hall expects an audience of 1.6 million people. Gaga is expected to go on stage around 9:45 pm. The temperature is mild tonight in the river, around 26ºC, and the possibility of rain is remote. Street vendors are selling sandbags for $ 25 for fans to build makeshift sets to get higher than VIP’s partitions and have a better view of the stage. The empty bag is sold at $ 10. Taps and bars separate the area near the stage, where about 6,000 guests from the rest of the public are expected.
