Eight people were injured – three of them seriously – when a car was embedded in the center of Stuttgart. Police are referring to a “tragic car accident” and excludes the possibility of a terrorist attack or deliberate action. The driver, a 42 -year -old German, has already been arrested.
The accident occurred at 18:50 (Greek time) at Stuttgart’s busy spot and, according to police, the driver lost control of the Mercedes G-Class SUV trying to turn, resulting in a group of pedestrians, including a woman who pushed a stroller. A child is also mentioned among the injured.
