Czech President Petr Pavel and his wife Eva welcomed on Sunday at the Prague Castle of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena. The Ukrainian government special landed at Ruzynský Airport Václav Havel in the morning. The Czech President also stated that Prague will support Ukraine in its ambitions for membership of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance. He also promised further support for Ukraine through the supply of military ammunition.
Greens then said that the Czech Republic is doing everything possible to stop Russian aggression, while the Czech ammunition initiative works excellently. “I thank the Czech nation. First of all, I would like to thank for the unwavering and sincere support of Ukraine, it really helps us to save lives from Russian attacks,” He said Greeding. In his words, Ukraine also appreciates Czech support for its European ambitions. However, Greeding regret said that some were blocking this process.
During the welcome of Zeleľský, the first castle courtyard was also Minister Lipavský or Director of the Castle Foreign Department Jaroslav Zajíček. The Ukrainian head of state expressed the gratitude of the Czech Republic for fundamental support and strengthening of cooperation. “The Czech ammunition initiative worked effectively, we will continue it.
