Oppositionist parliamentarians to the government are trying to reverse in court the appointment of commanding the Ministry of Social Security after the dismissal of. On Saturday (3), Senator Damares Alves (Republicans-DF) filed a popular action on the Federal District Federal against the act of President Lula, who appointed Queiroz on Friday (2). Already the leader of the PL in the House, Deputy Sostenes Cavalcante (RJ), requested the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) the precautionary removal of the new minister and the establishment of an investigation into the case.

Both actions state that Queiroz, as executive secretary of the Ministry of Social Security, would have been silent on complaints and information about billionaire fraud in the knowledge of the folder summit. Thus, the parliamentarians say, his appointment would violate the constitutional principles of administrative morality.

Even with the resignation of Lupi, congressmen advocate the opening of a Mixed Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPMI) to investigate the scandal involving improper discounts.
