“You can see the belt right behind us:, tens of meters in diameter and also tens of meters deep.” This was stated by the leader of the Police in the central area of Yaire Hezroni after the Houthi missile attack near Ben Gourion Airport.
Sirens sounded all over Central Israel after the impact, including the area near Tel Aviv. Reuters journalist at the airport saw passengers running to the security rooms.

Convened the Council of Ministers
The Israeli Security Council will meet today at 19:00 local time (and Greece time), a government source said.
Israeli media had reported yesterday, Saturday, in convening the body, which is making strategic decisions to approve a plan to expand the Gaza military attack.
The body is also convened after Ben Gurion International Airport was targeted by Yemen’s Houthi rebel offensive attack for which the Minister of Defense Israel Katos promised retaliation “seven times more powerful”.
The Houthi
Yemen’s guerrillas took responsibility for the launch of the ballistic missile, as they recently engaged in attacks to show their solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Airport authorities have announced that the projectile fell by a road near a parking lot of Terminal 3. A photo posted on social media shows a turn on the road covered with debris.
Israel’s threats
Israel today threatened with Yemen with “seven times more powerful retaliation” after the attack. “The one who hurts us will be hit seven times more powerful,” Israeli Defense Minister Israel Kats said in a brief announcement.
“Many efforts were made to intercept the rocket launched by Yemen,” the Israeli army said in his statement.
