According to the interim governor, Alexander Khinshtein, two employees from an agricultural company died early Monday when a Ukrainian drone attacked a vehicle near the Shchegolyok village in the Kursk Oblast, border with Ukraine.
In addition, a 53 -year -old man died in an attack similar to “a civil vehicle” in Zvannoye, the same source said. In August 2024, the Ukrainian forces attacked Kursk’s Oblast in surprise in response to Moscow’s invasion in February 2022, and took over 1,400 km². However, after months of combat, Russia said in late April that it controlled the entire region. Nevertheless, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ensures that his troops continue to operate in the region.
