Cardinals hold the latest Vatican meetings before the conclave

Several cardinals were seen walking towards the Vatican on Tuesday (6) to attend a general meeting of the congregation, the last day before the beginning of the conclave.

Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Patriarch of Jerusalem, was among the clerics photographed by the media as he walked through the columns of St. Peter’s Square.

During which cardinals discuss the future of the Catholic Church, they offer less known cardinals the opportunity to stand out and become “papable” – a possible Pope.
