Germany’s Alternative Alternative Alternative Party leader Alice Weidel asked for new elections after conservative leader Friedrich Merz could not get the necessary parliamentary to become a chancellor on Tuesday.
In a social media publication, Weidel said Merz should immediately resign to make his way to elections. “We asked common sense to prevail,” she said.
“Like AFD, we decided to turn this country upside down. We are ready to assume governmental responsibility,” he added.
“As an AfD, we started to put this country from the head on our feet. We are ready for government responsibility. And ask you to take reason. Lord should ced up immediately. The way should be opened for new elections in our country!”

Earlier, Weidel criticized. “Merz is the first chancellor candidate in the Federal Republic of Germany. This shows the weak base on which the small coalition between CDU/CSU and SPD was built, which was defeated by citizens,” he said.
