An architect, 26, who left Anápolis (GO) to Rio de Janeiro (RJ) to watch the show of singer Lady Gaga, has been missing since the afternoon of last Sunday (4), after entering the sea of the beach of Ipanema, southern Rio.
Igor Sousa Costa was in Rio with her boyfriend, Wesley, since last Wednesday (30) and should return to Goiás on Sunday night, the same day the architect was last seen.
A friend of the architect reported to CNN That the couple went alone to the beach on Sunday, intending to enjoy the last day in the city, and were taking turns during the day to enter the sea, while the other was taking care of the personal belongings. However, after going to the sea, Igor was no longer seen.
After noticing the disappearance, Igor’s boyfriend sought the Fire Department, who was on the beach, and performed aquatic but unsuccessful.
On social networks, friends and family are looking for information that can lead to the whereabouts of Igor.
Friends also filed a police report at the Rio Civil Police, which referred the case to the Paradeiros Discovery Police Station.
In a statement, the Military Fire Department said it was communicated on the disappearance and searches to find the man.
CNN has sought the Rio Civil Police for more information about the case and awaits return.
