Government calls for withdrawal of constitutional emergency project that expands exemption from IR

The Federal Government sent to the National Congress, on Monday, 5, an official message with the request to withdraw from the constitutional urgency of. The message was published in extra edition of the Federal Official Gazette this Monday.

Under constitutional urgency, there was a period of 45 days to assess the bill in the House of Representatives. The period ended on May 3, which would wage the Plenary’s agenda. According to parliamentarians, the government agreed to remove the urgency under the agreement, scheduled for this Tuesday, 6.
