Travel tickets for trains of the Railway Company Slovakia (ZSSK) can again be purchased online or in cash registers. The outage on the servers has been removed. For TASR, this was confirmed by ZSSK spokesman Dominik Drevický.
For the technical problem on the side of the external IT supplier, it was not possible to buy a train ticket on Tuesday via the mobile application or the ZSSK e-shop. The cash registers were also temporarily dysfunctioned with the complex passengers in personal cash registers. Tickets were only available directly on the train or on passenger trains via SMS.
ZSSK pointed out that service fees for the additional purchase of the ticket on the train were selected as usualHowever, for tickets purchased during a failure directly on the train, passengers can apply for a refund of the service fee by means of a claim.
