A New Minister of Women, Márcia Lopessaid, on Monday (5), that the President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT)want to see “The most happy women”.
“President Lula said he wants to see the most happy women, who wants to see more protected women,” he said in his early words as women’s minister.
“He wants to see that women, in each municipality, feel respected, welcomed, heard, listened to. It is, of course, that it is very difficult, a country with continental dimensions, arriving everywhere – and that is what we will do, with all the ministries,” said the new minister, minutes after Lula issued an official statement from, then head of the folder.

Márcia Lopes is a social worker, teacher, affiliated with the Workers Party and sister of Gilberto Carvalho, former chief minister of the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil of the Dilma Rousseff government and the office of President Lula in previous terms.
In 2004, Marcia was Secretary of Social Assistance of the Ministry of Social Development and Hunger Fighting. Between 2005 and 2007, he was executive secretary of the portfolio, and in 2010 assumed the position of minister.
She also composed President Lula’s transition team in 2022, integrating the social assistance area.
