The Railway Company Slovakia (ZSSK) registers the failure of the sale of tickets. Train tickets cannot be purchased through the mobile app or the ZSSK e-shop. Treasures are also temporarily equipped with cash registers with comprehensive passenger equipment in personal cash registers. The reason is the outage on the servers.
ZSSK recommends passengers to buy an SMS ticket. The ticket can also be purchased directly on the train, but with a service fee. On Tuesday, ZSSK spokesman Dominik Drevický informed about it. ZSSK pointed out that the technical problem is on the side of the external IT supplier and are working intensively to remove it.
The carrier warned that the service fees for the additional purchase of the ticket on the train are selected as under normal circumstances, but Passengers may apply for a refund through a claim. ZSSK will not apply any sanctions for not submitting a ticket during the failure. Passengers on ZSSK passenger trains recommend using an SMS ticket at 2255, in the High Tatras at 2233.
